Comparison of the Neural Responses and the Thresholds Plus the Comfortable Levels between the Normal and Inner Ear Malformation
Kim Shi-Chan

Abstract
The cochlear implantation has been a useful rehabilitation method to improve the hearing and the speech abilities. Especially, in children, it is hard to adjust the thresholds and comfortable levels during the programming. The status of the cochlear nerve activation can be evaluated with the neural response telemetry (NRT) intraoperatively and postoperatively. According to the status of the inner ear malformations, the neural response can be shown as the various thresholds. We reviewed the thresholds of the neural responses and the thresholds plus the comfortable levels in the normal and abnormal inner ear.
